Pinot Gris/grigio
Aquilani produces handcrafted organic wines throughout Italy. From the wine to the design, Aquilani strikes the balance between old and new, classical and also full of character.
Sparkling Rose
A well structured millesimato Prosecco Rose with striking acidity, white peach and delicate red berry fruit. Lifted pear and lively citrus perfectly balances the blend. A dry gently saline finish of solid length follows.
Pinot Noir
A vibrant Pinot Noir with black cherry, savoury herbs and baking spices. The palate explores both elegance and power that creates real appeal. Finely powdered tannins provide welcome structure and length to the ripe mid-palate fruit.
Prosecco
A burst of fresh lemon zest greets the senses, mingling with hints of white peach and delicate florals from the Pucino Prosecco. There’s a subtle undertone of mint and herbs, creating a fragrant bouquet that’s both uplifting and vibrant.
Chardonnay
Just like they used to make em’. Fat Bastard Chardonnay has an opulent, rich palate of grilled pineapple, spiced butterscotch and loaded with peach and apricot, all wrapped in a lush, buttery texture. Filled with macadamia and almond meal notes for depth and balance, the wine has a bright linear acid line, making it a fresh and lively delight. Full bodied goodness.
Shiraz/syrah
Aromas of juicy plums, purple violets, blackcurrant jam and licorice spice. This is big, bold and ballsy drinking. Loaded with ripe plush plums, juicy black cherries, a dash of black olives and a sprinkling of vanilla bean. With a finish of dark chocolate, pepper and cinnamon, you will be reaching for the second glass.
Chardonnay
Ripe and complex, displaying aromas of lemon curd, yellow fleshed plum, Almond meal and an exotic mix of Fresia and citrus blossom. Match with Sage and Dijon crusted pork fillet.
Pinot Noir
A complete wine with a bouquet of fresh red cherry and quince, along with some button mushrooms and red apple. There's a youthful, taut palate squeeze with a backbone of acidity and a bright core of red berry fruits: plum, cherry, raspberry, and quince.
Pinot Noir
Sour cherries, white pepper, and wild berries are complexed with oak derived spices including amaro and cinnamon notes. Hints of sappy, briary spice from the whole bunch. Limestone notes add intrigue. Match with soup pork dumplings, Cacio e pepe, Baked whole flathead with capers.
Shiraz/syrah
As with previous vintages, the grapes come from two main vineyards, one off the deep red Cambrian soil, the other from tougher more gravelly ground. The first gives us rich, chocolatey and earthy flavours whilst the other has more highly fragrant notes with good acid and sweet fruit. The wine that results is our take on Heathcote shiraz.
Sparkling White
The palate is elegant and harmonious, the finish long, crisp and dry. The fruity bouquet shows enticing citrusy notes, with a hint of red fruits and some biscuity complexity.
